Prosanctus Inferi will have their first live show ever since their inception some two years ago. They will be performing at the Legion of Doom in Columbus, OH February 10th with some other killer metal acts. Remaining copies of the mLP will be sold at the show. Online ordering will no longer be accepted. Copies can still be ordered online at Relapse and Aquarius records. Expect a repress soon.

Of the initial pressing, there are about 15 copies left. The response has been great in the month that it’s been out. A repress is slated sooner than expected. Be on the lookout for a review in Metal Maniacs soon!
In other news, the mastering for the next Chrome Leaf release has been completed, courtesy of Aphotic, for Portal’s Lurker at the Threshold picture disc ep. This release will be out early Spring ‘08.
Sequencing for the new Black Dove lp, titled No Future/No Fate, is complete. This will be a split release with Solar Funeral. I’m told there will be some sick silver foil print on the jacket. This will be out in Spring as well, just in time for their east coast tour with Gasmask Terror from France.

2008 will see a slew of releases via Chrome Leaf. First and foremost I am extremely excited to be able to unleash a (tentative) picture disc 7″ from Australia’s very own aural surgeons PORTAL . This will document the band’s recent cassette ‘Lurker at the Threshold’, including 13 Globes and Omnipotent Crawling Chaos. Needless to say, I am way amped about this one. Stay tuned for future manifestations…

After many delays at the plant, the unholy one-sided lp is finally available for mailorder. Only 100 copies available so act fast is you want one. The band tells me they are about to birth a live set for some upcoming shows, including the SACRIFICE OF THE NAZARENE CHILD FESTIVALheld in Texas this June on the Summer Solstice. October 19th will see two new Chrome Leaf releases; Deadsea’s 2007 full-length cd and the Prosanctus Inferi one-sided lp. Deadsea will be performing at Ruby Tuesday that eve and will have both new releases available for purchase. Both releases will also be available via mailorder on the site shortly thereafter.

After some unexpected delays in getting the Prosanctus Inferi lp mastered, I will be receiving the test presses this week. Artwork to follow shortly. I am anticipating a release date in late September.

I will be receiving the master from the band to send out for mastering and pressing next week. A tentative release date of 9/11/07 is in the works. Discussions are being made regarding design and packaging (this one is going to be sick for sure!).
